  Michele Andersen, President
 

Michele began her career here at Picatinny in 1989 as a Secretary.  In 2003 she was accepted into the Financial Management Intern Program, of which she graduated.  She is currently matrixed to PM Combat Ammunition Systems as the lead analyst for both the Precision Guidance Kit (PGK) and Accelerated Precision Mortars Initiative (APMI) Programs. 

Outside of work she is very active with her towns recreational sports programs, fundraising events, and other activities that her children participate in.  She also volunteers her time here at Picatinny in support of Multicultural-Employee Day and Armed Forces Day.   She has held the positions of President, Vice President and Secretary for ASMC in the past.  Michele received her Master’s Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Charlene Aemisegeo, Vice President

Prior to working for the Federal Government, Charlene worked for BASF for 18 years.  Most of her experience was in various aspects of Logistics and the Accounts Payable Division. In addition, Charlene held the positions in the BASF Employee Activities Association for two years as the Vice President and four years as the Associations President.  She attended Centenary College earning her Associates Degree.

Working at Picatinny in the Customer Order Control Point (COCP) as a Program Analyst since July of 2006, Charlene has been a member of WID and ASMC for over four years. She is the current ASMC Vice President, as well as, chair for the ASMC Community Service Committee here at Picatinny. Charlene was the WID VP for Community Outreach Programs the last two years. She is also involved with WID’s Bring Your Child to Work Day and was the previous co-chair for the WID Breast Cancer Health Fair and Tricky Tray.

  Lynn Reeves, Treasurer
 

Lynn Reeves began her career here in ARDEC in July 2004, as a Program Analyst with ASIC PIO(now ESIC) under the supervisor of Janet Natisin; working as an integral part of the ASIC /SED program financial group, supporting SED Director and Competency Managers for more than three years. She moved into a Matrix support position working for Martin Kane in the PM - Joint Light Weight managing funds, projects and varies aspects of the M119 Howitzer and IPADs programs for 15 months.  In March 2009, she came to Customer Order Control Point (COCP) as the Team Lead. In March of 2010 she took a developmental assignment as Supervisor, filling in for Janet Natisin as the Chief of ESIC. Lynn returned on July 26th,2010 as the Team Lead of COCP.

In 2004 Lynn accepted the position of Chairperson for the CF Campaign run here at Picatinny, bringing in the highest recorded donations in 2004; better than previous 7 years.  She was the acting Secretary for her community 7 years running and has been a member of numerous committees’.  She has recently joined the Organizational climate committee under the direction of Dr.Joe Lannon, is a current member of Picatinny’s Women In Defense (WID) Chapter, NDIA, and is an active member of Picatinny’s ASMC Chapter. 

Lynn received her BS degree in Nutrition from Montclair State University, and Certified Customer Service Rep from Rock Hurst University.

Anna M. Hopler, Secretary

 

I began my career with the federal government in 1987 in the clerical and administrative field.  I am currently a Program Analyst with Financial Management, assigned to the Customer Order Control Point (COCP), Financial Management Office.  Since being employed at Picatinny, I have held the positions of Clerk Typist, Secretary, Program Assistant and Program Analyst in ARDEC.  I have been a member of ASMC for seven years .   I held the position of Vice President for the Picatinny Chapter and was responsible for the Membership Committee. 

 

 

 

Descriptions of Officer Responsibilities

Officers shall be nominated by electronic mail ballot by any member in good standing.  Nomination is either accepted or declined by the potential candidate.

 

Officers shall serve a term of twelve (12) months beginning 1 April and ending 31 March the following year.  Officers are eligible for election for two consecutive terms in one office.  Elections shall be held for one month period using electronic mail or mailed ballot, to be counted by the Chairperson of the Nominating Committee prior to the September meeting.  Installation of Officers shall be made at the regular meeting in April.  The incoming and outgoing officers shall determine and coordinate the installation ceremonies, the audit of the Treasurer’s accounts and the orderly transfer of powers and records.

 

The President shall be the chief executive and shall preside at meetings; appoint committee chairpersons, and act as ex-officio member of all committees, except the Nominating Committee; execute powers of this office; enforce the Constitution, by-laws, contracts, policies, and directives of the Society and this Chapter; and assign duties to officers and committees.

 

There shall be several chairpersons, on for each of the major activities represented in the Chapter membership rollers.  The Chairperson for each activity shall be a member of that Command or Agency and in good standing with the National Chapter.

 

The Vice President shall preside at meetings in the absence of the President.

 

The Secretary shall:

  

A.     Record the proceedings of the Chapter meetings and Chapter Executive meetings.

 

B.     Be custodian of Chapter records, charter and papers, and keep an updated written history of the Chapter.  These historical records will be typed, consolidated into a booklet, and filed with the local library for minimum of five years.

 

C.     Execute or cause to be executed all provisions of the National Constitution which pertain to Charter operations and policy.

 

The Treasurer shall:

 

A.     Be custodian of Chapter financial records and transactions.

 

B.     Manage Chapter financial transactions.  Receive and deposit money, pay bills, prepare vouchers, and maintain books of all financial transactions.

 

C.     Sign all checks.

 

D.     Have authority to approve Chapter payments of all bills for goods or services.

 

E.      Will prepare monthly and publish quarterly financial statements to the membership in the Chapter newsletter.

The President will be the presiding officer and will enforce all laws, contracts, etc. and execute such papers requiring the President's signature. The President will exercise general supervisory control over all affairs of the Chapter and be an ex officio member of all committees, or other governing bodies, and may examine their minutes, books and records.

Vice President - Membership. The VP of Membership will keep an exact roster of the membership, and submit reports to National Headquarters as necessary. In the temporary absence of the President, the Vice-President of Membership will perform the duties of the President.

Vice President - Programs. The VP of Programs will plan membership meetings and publicize them as necessary. The Vice President – Programs will also provide a written summary of the monthly luncheon meetings to the Secretary and the Newsletter Chair.

Vice President - Nominations. The VP of Nominations will plan and execute the annual election process for officers. The VP of Nominations is also responsible for the planning of the Chapter Booth at the National PDI’s Chapter Fair.

The Secretary will record the proceeding of the Executive Committee. The Secretary will be custodian of the charter, seal, laws, documents and papers of the Chapter and will provide assistance/perform other duties as directed by the President.

The Treasurer will receive and deposit all monies of the Chapter, pays its just bills, maintain its books of accounts, and make appropriate reports of the financial condition of the chapter to the President and the members as directed. The Treasurer or the President will sign all checks or warrants on the funds of the Chapter.

Newsletter. The Newsletter Chairperson will manage the publication and distribution of the Cleveland Chapter ASMC newsletter. Section 8. Training, Education, And Scholarship Chairperson. The Chairperson will manage the Chapter Training, Education, and Scholarship program and submit reports/documentation to National Headquarters as necessary.

Community Service / Fundraising. The Community Service / Fundraising Chairperson will coordinate the organization's participation in various activities in support to the local community and other charitable efforts. The Community Service / Fundraising Chairperson will also be responsible for coordinating fund raising activities in support of the Chapter's scholarship awards program.

Webmaster. The Webmaster Chairperson will ensure that the local chapter webpage is kept current and is in compliance with any base Information Assurance policies.
